What we do

The community physiotherapy service provides Stay Steady Clinics early intervention for individuals worried about falling, or who are a little unsteady on their feet.

Did you know that one in three people over 65 and one in two over 80 have at least one fall per year? Having a fall can have serious physical and psychological consequences and can lead to loss of mobility, confidence and independence.

Falls are not an inevitable part of growing older though and booking yourself in to one of our clinics can help you to recognise your risks and take action to reduce them in the future. They are currently running virtually via telephone or video link so you can have an assessment from your own home and we have also restarted face to face clinics.

Clinics are run by qualified Physiotherapists and experienced falls technicians who will talk to you about your risks and give you individualised advice, input and signposting.

This service is for people aged between 50 years and 100 years.
