Vegetarian for Life is a UK charity that supports older vegetarians and vegans. We run a national monthly vegan lunch club on the 4th Tuesday of every month via Zoom. It's open to vegans, vegetarians, and meat reducers aged 65 and over, living anywhere in the UK. We also run regular 6-week cookery courses for older adults, in partnership with organisations. We are currently running these virtually via Zoom. Pen and phone pal scheme. A great way to help reduce isolation. Many close friendships have been forged through the scheme. We have numerous publications on our website, of which paper copies are available on request. These include cooking for one, Take V, festive delights, and veggie meals to your door. They're packed with nutrition information, recipes, menu plans and more. We also have a grants scheme available to help older vegans and vegetarians with independent living.
