What we do

Lisvane Men’s Shed was set up in 2021, following the Covid lockdown, with the aim of promoting the mental health and well-being of local men who have time on their hands, providing activities, friendship and social interaction, to fight isolation, loneliness and depression.
A community based registered charity, Lisvane Men’s Shed meet at the Ty Mawr Inn on a Monday afternoon between 1-4pm.

Who do we support

Primarily adult men with time on their hands and a need to enjoy an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendship. A healthy inclusive community group with an open and transparent approach, supporting the diverse community, and acting without discrimination.

This service is for people aged 18+.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - Annual subscription and occasional charges for some sessions.

Can anyone use this service?

No referrals are necessary and those attending are usually members of the Men’s Shed.
