What we do

We are a support network, signposting service and friendship group for new and experienced fathers with the objective of tackling loneliness and breaking the taboo of men's mental health. We run public and private events across South Wales (including virtually) to spread the word of our community organisation and for dads to make new friends. Come along to an event and see what it's all about.

Who do we support

Even though METALIDADS is a proudly Welsh community organisation, we welcome dads that are over 18 years old in the Barry and Vale of Glamorgan area, however, our online platform is world wide and open to dads anywhere to gain further information on the topics we discuss.

Can anyone use this service?

Contact us directly using our website, social media or e-mail address. We are a service with a holistic approach, however we will signpost dads to clinical and support services near where they live.

We are volunteer-led and are available via e-mail and through our website 7 days a week. One of our team will write back to you within a period of 12 hours.
