What we do

We are an award winning charity providing professional, high quality mental health support in the community.

Our group led activities are proven and innovative. KIM sessions are friendly, fun and always focused on progression and individual development.

We recognize that certain key capabilities make our work unique. Our evaluations show that volunteers, students, staff and visitors find KIM to be a special organisation. Our staff are passionate and enthusiastic, and create an environment which is welcoming and accessible. We operate as flexibly and responsively as possible and ensure that everyone involved with KIM is treated equally.

We aim to involve our clients and volunteers in all the activities we undertake, and through consultation ensure everyone is appropriately involved in decision making. We also actively encourage our clients and volunteers to become members of KIM, to attend Annual General Meetings and to become Trustees.

Who do we support

KIM 4 Her
An established project for women which is sociable, informative and builds self reliance. Through a combination of new places, new people and inspiring opportunities, individuals learn about themselves, their responses and their place in their community. KIM 4 Her also offers a weekly group in Wrexham Hospital.

KIM 4 Him
A groundbreaking project designed specifically for men. We help reduce the barriers to men seeking support through 1-1 mentoring and team based group work. If you’re interested in photography, themed days, Men’s Sheds, Star Wars, cooking, monthly brunch and a whole lot more, get in touch.

This service is for people aged 18+.
