What we do

Esteam provides training and experience in screen printing, wood work, tool renovation, tree planting and propagation, horticulture, conservation work, Permaculture, food growing, arts and crafts, jewellery making and pizza making,
We are based at The Warren where we have accessible workshops and toilet facilities. We endeavour to work as a team in a friendly and mutually supportive way.
We are close to Freshwater West beach where we litter pick, have picnics and play football, cricket and rounders.
We take part in cricket and football tournaments, and often have a kick-around during breaks.
We have lots of resources at The Warren, which we are improving all the time. We have: gardens, a greenhouse, a metal working shop, a woodworking shop, a printing shop, craft rooms, a library, a kitchen and common rooms. We also have a dart board, a table football game and a pool table for when we need a break from work.

We have regular discos, dances and concerts!

Who do we support

Esteam was set up in 2005 in partnership with people with learning disabilities.
Esteam works with people with learning disabilities who are aged from 20 to 70. We also work with people with mental and physical health issues, and with volunteers of all ages.
Esteam has accessible workshops and toilets, and is in the process of making the land around The Warren accessible by creating paths so that everyone can enjoy our lovely environment.

We are a Tier 2 provider on the Day Opportunities Framework with Pembrokeshire Council. We provide a supported environment, i.e. group support but can also provide 1: 1 support if required.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - £40 per day.

Cancellation Policy:

Participants must give two weeks’ notice of cancellation of their activities with Esteam.

Esteam reserves the right to cancel services in the event of inappropriate behaviour by the participant.

Bookings Policy:

Minimum booking of activities is one month. Thereafter 1 months' notice must be provided.

Can anyone use this service?

Anyone can access this service, through self-referral or by a support a carer, friend, support worker or social worker.

 Opening times

Usually 9:00am - 3:00pm but Esteam works with the seasons, so during the summer the day can be longer to incorporate activities and social events like BBQs, sports and parties.
Esteam also celebrates Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc by holding parties in the evenings.
We also go on day trips and attend sports tournaments which can extend into the night.
