The structure of the BTEC Level 2 course is the perfect balance between classroom-based learning and practical activities.We’re proud to be able to offer our students a relaxed atmosphere to learn and the opportunity to transfer what they’ve learned in the classroom through structured, practical training sessions.Students will work to complete a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport, which is an academic equivalent to 4 GCSEs. We provide fantastic progression opportunities for those learners with aspirations to study a BTEC Level 3, as well as providing the knowledge and skills needed for employment or apprenticeships.Students will gain the knowledge required for a substantial understanding of the principles of sport. Lesson modules include anatomy, physiology, sports psychology, sports coaching, and sports research.
There are no entry requirements, young people need to be aged between 16-19 years old from Cardiff, Caerphilly, Newport or RCT.
