Palpung Maitri House (House of Friendship) is a community venue, which aims to bring people together under the umbrella of friendship, harmony and wellbeing. Maitri House is non-denominational and open to everyone. The communal space can be rented out for events, birthday parties, community groups, individuals and by professionals. The space itself offers a variety of possibilities for usage: for meetings, small conferences, events, individual treatments and community groups. Events that are free and open for everyone at Maitri House currently are Soup Kitchen & coffee mornings every Wednesday 11am - 1pm, Games afternoon on Fridays 3-5pm, and Writing Group every two weeks Sundays. Yes - Room hire charge depends on the area that is rented. The classes, groups or events, will have their own charges.
