What we do

Are you caring for someone? Looking after a partner, friend, family member, neighbours? Does your input help them to continue living at home? If you answered 'YES' to any of the above, then you are an unpaid carer.

Blaenau Gwent carers project offers confidential advice and information to carers aged 18+. Amongst other things, advice may be given on benefits, care assessments and respite options. The project produces a twice-yearly newsletter.

Special events for carers are organised throughout the year, such as:
• Day trips
• Coffee mornings
• Information days

Our Carer's Project Officer makes domiciliary visits to carers requiring a home visit.

Anyone can contact our Carer's Project Team directly.

Our office is available to contact Monday to Friday form 9AM to 4PM.
