What we do

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has been supporting families to ensure period dignity for everyone within the Vale of Glamorgan regardless of their circumstances.

Ongoing support has been provided and products are available via Schools, the Youth service, Libraries, Leisure Centres, community organisation's and various housing partners to ensure access to period products, free of charge and accessible in the most practical and dignified way possible.

There is no set eligibility as products are available for all residents of the Vale of Glamorgan and can be collected through a number of different ways:-
• Period Dignity Collection Points
• Period Dignity Dispensers
• Schools - Please be aware that all Schools within the Vale of Glamorgan have Period dignity supplies for your child to access.

Who do we support

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has been supporting families to ensure period dignity for everyone within the Vale of Glamorgan regardless of their circumstances.

We have approximately 70 Period Dignity Collection points across the Vale, please browse our map on perioddignity@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk

Free period products can be delivered directly to pupils homes in a safe, practical and dignified way. Young people have to either live or attend school in the Vale of Glamorgan to be eligible for this scheme. Our aim is to ensure that no-one slips through the net and there is provision available for all learners who have periods.
