Have choice and take control
We are a befriending service, specialising in supporting vulnerable people who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation in our community. We would like to update you on a new service we can now provide to support older people experiencing isolation in Gwynedd, in the Bangor/Caernarfon/Bethesda areas – Eryri Cooperative Community Access Project, which is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. We are able to offer a free, time-limited service whose remit is to support individuals back into their communities. This can include support to access community activities/ events, shopping trips, sitting service for carers of loved ones with dementia, home visits for company, including chatting, light housework, opening letters , organising appointments, day trips out or attending appointments.
Anyone over the age of 18, who needs some support, assistance, company or transport to help them to achieve goals to overcome loneliness or isolation.
This service is for people aged 18+.
Yes - Payment is currently required for any services provided.
