What we do

We are a vibrant community centre that maintains an independent café, recording studio, and bakery together with our own meeting room, two large halls, music rehearsal rooms, and social space. We also operate a wide range of youth provisions and other community projects. Find out what’s on at Cathays Community Centre, We have activities, events, youth clubs, coffee mornings, and more.

Our activities include the following: Cardiff and Vale ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Inclusive Day Provision, Monday Night Youth Club, Community Jam, Memory Lane Social Club, Capoeira, Apostolic Vision Church, Impact LGBTQ+Club, Cardiff Socialist Party, Coffee Morning, UTIW Taekwondo, Balkan Dance Classes, Flow Yoga, Gaming Events, Open Mic/Poetry/Scriptwriting Workshops, and the Loveworld Church Service.

Who do we support

Our local community Centre supports a vibrant community and operates a wide range of youth provisions and other community projects. We host a huge range of independent groups and classes that hire the space. Helping the community enjoy a variety of activities

Our building is open to the community 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also have the Aubergine Cafe Wednesday – Sunday 9am – 4pm and Inclusive Youth Provision 10am – 4pm in the school holidays.

This service is for people of all ages.
