What we do

If you are feeling lonely or isolated why not come and enjoy an adventure with other likeminded people at our Paddle-Ability club.

Our Paddle-Ability Club runs every Friday from 11am till 1pm, we are located in the village of Dale where facilities include Café, public toilets including a disabled toilet and disabled parking bays on the sea front.

Dale is a calm bay perfect for your first adventures on the water. The club is run by fully qualified instructors that will introduce you to adaptive paddleboarding and watersports. We have adaptive equipment including seated boards, beach wheelchairs and a pontoon hoist. Come and enjoy the calm and relaxing feel of being on the water whilst making new friends and becoming part of our community.

Who do we support

Paddle-Ability is for ages 18+ and is open to anyone that wants to come and give it a go. We have specialist adaptive equipment including beach wheelchairs, adaptive boards and a pontoon hoist to help people access the sport and water. If you require 1:1 support or support with personal care you would need to bring a Personal Assistant with you.
We are a Tier 1/2 provider on the DOIT Framework

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - Paddle-Ability Club is £10pp - Carer and support workers come free of charge.
