What we do

Conwy Monkeys Climbing Club gives children with ASD, ADHD and other additional needs, and their siblings, a chance to take part in fun activities which improves their physical ability, motor skills and socialisation.

Indoor Climbing takes place at the Boathouse Climbing Centre during school term times with additional activities including outdoor adventures during the school holidays.

Who do we support

A friendly fun club aimed at children and their families aged between 5-17 with ASD, ADHD and other additional needs. We also have an open door policy to any additional needs with or without a formal diagnosis. Children with siblings younger than 5 years can also come along and climb, although there are restrictions on which sections of the wall they can use.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - Membership is £30 per term or £15 per half term, per child.

As a voluntary organisation we do receive funding to be able to subsidise costs, if you are facing financial barriers that may impact the ability to access us please don't hesitate to get in touch.

    Please contact to discuss your child(s) needs further.   This club has exclusive use of the Boathouse Climbing Centre making it a safe space for children with ASD, ADHD and other additional needs.
    Experienced staff are on hand to supervise the climbing activities, there is no formal teaching that takes place with flexibility given to climbers to move around the centre.
    It is also a place for parents to support each other.
