Who do we support
The Volunteer Event Organiser plays an important role in helping to plan and deliver events that support the organisation’s aims. This role helps create welcoming, engaging events that raise awareness and strengthen community connections.
What the Role Involves
As a Volunteer Event Organiser, you will help with:
Planning and coordinating community events and activities
Working with community leads and partners
Attending meetings and sharing ideas and feedback
Gathering and organising information to support event planning
Helping to make practical decisions about venues, dates, times, layouts, guest lists, and catering
You will keep The Mentor Ring informed of progress and updates, and support post-event reviews by sharing what worked well and identifying areas for improvement.
You will also support event promotion by helping to create simple marketing materials, contributing ideas for publicity, and sharing information through appropriate channels, including social media.
