What we do

This is a brand new walking group, free of charge and no need to book starting and ending at The Three Horseshoes, St. Athan. Please contact Paul at pauljeffhawk1@gmail.com or call 07974772102.

Valeways offers 6 stroller groups across the Vale from 6 different locations, meeting fortnightly. And another 3 specialised groups meeting once a month. These are one-hour walks on firm ground, without steep slopes or steps and finishing at a coffee shop or similar for a cuppa and a chat.

If you are new to walking, a semi-retired walker or new to the Vale and want to discover the area and make new friends, Valeways has the answer! STROLLERS.

Who do we support

Valeway Strollers is for everyone but we ask that you:
• Dress appropriately for the weather conditions, bring drinking water on hot days and wear strong, but comfortable footwear.
• Follow the instructions provided by the walk leader.
• Always tell the walk leader if you want to leave the walk before the end of the walk.
• Do not bully or harass other walkers
• Ensure that children under 18 years and vulnerable adults are accompanied.
• Fully trained assistance dogs can be brought on some 1 and 2 boot walks and all stroller outings. Before deciding to bring an assistance dog on a walk please read our assistance dogs policy.
• Do not attend walks when under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

This service is for people aged 18+.

Can anyone use this service?

Give it a try: it’s turn up and go and if you enjoy, come again and again. If you have any ailments please let the walk leader know in advance. Otherwise, wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather. If it’s hot please bring sun lotion and a hat.
