What we do

The Society was founded in January 1992.

Its aim is to promote the study of the history of Holt and the surrounding area. The Society has working groups of members on various projects resulting in publications, exhibitions, local lectures, waymarked village trail leaflets and hands on archaeology.

This service is for people aged 18+.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - Membership subscription is £15p.a. and £5.00 for full time students and covers the the lectures year from April 1st to the following March 31st, usually held on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30pm in Holt Community Centre in Chapel Street, LL13 9DJ
Lectures are free to all members and £5.00 for non members.
