What we do

Sessions with the horses that we offer:
• Meeting and greeting the horses • Feeding the horses treats • Sensory horse sessions • Grooming and sensory sessions with the horses • Leading a horse • Taking a horse for some grass • Watching the herd in the field • Teaching individuals how to look after a horse • Horse agility

Who do we support

Wrexham Council have awarded us the community inclusion grant to be able to offer people living with dementia and their families or carers to visit us, meet a small pony, stroke and have a sensory session, groom, feed a treat followed by a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee and cakes or biscuits.

This service is for people aged 18+.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - A donation is not expected but much appreciated. It will help fund our special projects that help so many people. Every donation helps no matter how much, helping us continue with our good work.
