What we do

Cardiff Council has teamed up with Countryside Mobility, to provide 2 outdoor mobility scooters at Parc Cefn Onn. With support from The Lottery Heritage Fund, the scooters, known as Trampers, will make the park more accessible.

Who do we support

Anyone

This service is for people aged 18+.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - To hire a Tramper, you will need to become a Countryside Mobility member.

You will need to choose one of the following options, and pay a hire fee of £2.50 per hour:

£3 - Single use
£5 - 2 weeks
£15 -12 months (ideal for repeat visits to the park and other Countryside Mobility locations).

You can only hire a Tramper between 10am and 2:30pm on specific dates:

Monday 9th March
Friday 20th March
Saturday 28th March

Reservations can be made by emailing CommunityParkRangers@cardiff.gov.uk. Please include your contact details along with the time, date and duration you wish to hire the Tramper.
