Food Rescue for Gresford and Marford - Community Health

What we do

We are a group of local volunteers who work to rescue 'date up' food from supermarkets, and get this food out into the community where it will be used, rather than go to landfill.
We have taken over from the 'Gresford Community Cupboard' Facebook page, and changed the name as we serve Marford as well as Gresford, and we don't have a cupboard.

Who do we support

We organise food boxes for people on request (via messaging the Facebook page) and we'll also advertise boxes when we have food available.
We also help local charities and community groups by supplying excess food to them, thus helping them keep their costs down, and keep food waste to an absolute minimum.
