What we do

We offer support, services and advice to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people throughout Wales who are affected by mental ill health.
We take a holistic approach, using solution focused methods that promote recovery, empowerment and independent living in the community.
Our project also works to raise awareness of issues surrounding Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic mental health and to help reduce discrimination and inequality. We can offer understanding and non-judgmental support in areas such as:

Individual support, advocacy and counselling
Community support
Information and advice
Befriending and volunteering opportunities
Signposting for individuals, family members and carers
Hospital visits for in-patients

Who do we support

We work with:
People from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities
Asylum seekers/ refugees

We accept referrals for adults aged 16 years and over.

This service is for people aged 18+.

Can anyone use this service?

Who can make a referral? You (self-refer), Voluntary and community organisations, Housing support workers, Social Services, Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs), GPs and other health professionals, Probation services, Refugee and asylum seeker organisations.

Where do we provide our service?
