What we do

Support includes up to 10 home based sessions with family members to improve communication with a D/deaf child.
This can also include deaf awareness in the home, clear verbal communication, basic sign language. Monthly group activities for children and families, including family events. Free support and advice

Who do we support

The project is for children and families from the age of 0 yrs to 18yrs old who have any level of hearing loss

Is there a charge to use this service?

No

Can anyone use this service?

Yes we do require a referral, however anyone can contact us directly and anyone can refer to the project

Language: English medium setting with some bilingual elements

  • Can provide specialist support for families of children with disabilities / additional needs Yes
    Please contact to discuss your child(s) needs further.   1:1 support allows our service to be tailored to the needs of each child and their family.
  • Relevant staff have a valid current DBS? Yes

 Opening times

Monday 9am - 5pm
Tuesday 9am - 5pm
Wednesday 9am -5pm
Thursday 9am - 5pm
Friday 9am -4.30pm. Our lunch times vary depending on the needs / demands of the service
