What we do

Gisda is a charity that provides support and opportunities to homeless and vulnerable young people in Gwynedd by providing accommodation; theraputic support to develop confidence and independant living skills; wellbeing and mental health support; progression support for employment, education and/or training; creative activities to raise confidence and develop skills; opportunities to broaden horizons. This is to reach our vision that Gwynedd's young people can live happy and safe lives free from disadvantage and inequity. It provides a range of projects such as Academi Cyfleon which provides support to 16 - 25 year olds across Gwynedd with independent living skills, employability, volunteering and training. ICAN, which provides early support to people struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. LGBTQ+, youth clubs in Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Pwllheli. Housing Support, providing support to young people on their journey to independent living. And much more!

This service is for people aged between 16 years and 25 years.
