Have choice and take control
We run regular classes teaching historical martial arts, primarily sword fighting. Classes are run in Merthyr Tydfil on Tuesday 17:00-18:30 and in Caerphilly on Thursday 17:30-19:00.We are also available for demonstrations, talks, and hands on practical sessions for schools, home education groups, clubs, and other places that might want to introduce their children to a different way of looking at European history, through the lens of the combat techniques used in the past.We cover a great deal of material related to the time period, including laws and customs around particular weapons, practical demonstrations of their use, and hands on martial arts learning. In our regular classes we focus on an approach of teaching the practical skill of fencing, with explanations of context and historical relevance mixed in, as children seem to learn more readily in this way.
We provide classes for young people (10-15) who are interested in learning Historical European Martial Arts.
