What we do

We are offering residents a completely free of charge service called LEAP (Local Energy Advice Partnership). LEAP can reduce your energy usage and keep you warm and cosy.
LEAP can:
Check your energy bills to ensure you are not paying too much for your energy.
Provide free, simple energy saving measures which can save the average household £30 on their energy bills a year.
Give you day to day energy efficiency hints and tips and ensure your heating system is set up to keep you warm and save money.
Arrange a free telephone advice service to help with benefits, debt and other money problems.
Refer you for further funded energy efficiency improvements, such as insulation and efficient heating systems.

Who do we support

This service is available free of charge to eligible residents across England, Wales and Scotland. You are likely to be eligible if you have a low household income and are in receipt of state benefits.
If you are eligible, we will book you an appointment with one of our friendly, qualified advisers.
LEAP has some very broad eligibility requirements. We want to be able to help as many people as we can by extending the service to anyone that either is already in, or is at risk of falling into fuel poverty. It is open to all types of householders – homeowners, private renters and social housing tenants.

This service is for people aged 18+.
