Wrexham Outreach Tenancy Support (WOTS) is an outreach service offering tenancy-related support to individuals who have mental health and / or substance use needs and are living independently in the community. WOTS helps to keep individuals in the community when they are having a difficult time. We help maintain their tenancy, avoid eviction, and provide support to avoid hospital admissions unless necessary. We encourage and incorporate our support in helping the individual to feel part of the local and wider community, with the aim of reducing loneliness and isolation. We have a holistic approach to supporting individuals. We believe in a positive, friendly approach that is not judgmental or prejudiced. We seek to go with the individual’s pace; the support is led by them and what they identify as important to them. Our aim is for each individual to obtain their goal to live independently with confidence and a sense of pride and to maintain their place in the local and wider community
We offer support to individuals with mental ill-health and / or substance use, with a primary need for housing-related support.
