What we do

The Gathering Place in St Athan, owned by the Methodist Church, functions as a vibrant community hub offering diverse activities and services beyond its Sunday church services, including hall rentals for groups like Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, and community organisations such as the Citizens Advice Bureau. It actively supports early childhood development through Language and Play sessions and a baby massage group, while also hosting dance classes, karate lessons, craft sessions, and children's parties, serving as a versatile space for local residents. Located in the rural Vale of Glamorgan near RAF St Athan, it fosters strong community ties by connecting village residents and the broader community, making it an integral part of village life.
