We offer befriending support to older people, aged 65 plus, who:Have limited friends or family who can visit them.Live alone or are housebound.Go for long periods of time without any interaction with others. As a befriending volunteer, you'll be helping an older person feel less isolated and provide them with the chance to have a chat. Our Shopping Service costs £5 and is for older people, aged 65 plus who struggle to get out to do their own shopping.Don’t have family or friends that can help.Are in financial hardship and not able to pay for private support.Don’t have access to internet and telephone shopping.We offer transport to appointments if we have a volunteer available, as well as support with form filling and small technology issues.
