What we do

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Our nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice and support with all aspects of dementia.

Who do we support


Anyone affected by dementia, including people living with dementia, their family members, friends and carers. We can also offer advice and guidance to health and social care professionals.

 Opening times

Helpline: Monday-Friday 9am-9pm; Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays 9am-5pm (except 25th December).
Our Helpline can get busy so if you cannot get through straightaway, please email helpline@dementiauk.org and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Virtual clinic appointments: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 10am-7pm; Thursday and Friday 10am-4pm; Saturday 10am-4pm.
