What we do

Information, advice and guidance about: childcare and childcare costs, including the Childcare Offer for Wales; things to do; children's health; child safety; bullying; behaviour; parenting ; and much more.

Friendly advice and support is available to help:
- parents access the services they may need, including parents of disabled children and children with specific needs;
- parents increase their confidence and resilience

We are a Quality Assured service having achieved the Families First Quality Award for Family Information Services in 2024

Who do we support

Parents and carers from pregnancy to the child's 20th birthday and professionals working with families in Wrexham County Borough can access WFIS.

    Please contact to discuss your child(s) needs further.   Our Parent Support Advisors can provide one to one support to families with children with disabilities/additional needs to navigate available support and services.
