What we do

DMWS provide physical, mental health and specialist wellbeing support to those with an Armed Forces connection (serving, reservists, veterans) and those in frontline public services (Police, NHS, Ambulance, and Fire Service) across the UK.

DMWS provide free, confidential welfare support to the Armed Forces Community, whilst they are receiving medical treatment. Our highly trained Welfare Officers are available 24/7 to offer support to patients and their families through the stresses of hospital admissions or ongoing medical treatment, by addressing both emotional and practical issues. We also offer training in Mental Health First Aid and a Level 3 Diploma in Welfare Studies.

This service is for people of all ages.
