What we do

Diverse Cymru, now part of Adferiad, is delighted to announce that we are managing the additional round of the Welsh Government’s Culture Grants Scheme for Grassroot Organisations and that the schem will be open for applications until 5pm on Monday 15th September 2025.

The Welsh Government’s Culture Grant Scheme for Grassroot Organisations is one of the range of activities taking place to support individuals from Black, Asian & minority Ethnic communities – including people from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities; individuals from the LGBTQ+ community; and disabled people to have equitable access to and involvement in cultural activities across Wales.

This Grant Scheme is part of the Welsh Government’s work on equality planning and strategy, specifically the:

Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan
LGBTQ+ Action Plan for Wales
Disabled People’s Rights Plan: 2025-2035
