Have choice and take control
Big Queer Picnic is a family friendly, anti-capitalist pride event in Cardiff once a year. We offer a calm, accessible space to interact with other people and watch our performers. We are a gathering of people who feel excluded elsewhere and come together each year to celebrate Pride free from money and corporations. We don't think that you should have to pay to celebrate pride, and we also don't think that corporations who don't have our best interests at heart should be front and centre. We encourage people to bring a picnic and watch our performances. We only platform queer artists. This year's Big Queer Picnic is taking place between 1pm to 6pm on 13th June 2026 at Sophia Gardens
Our resource is for anyone in the community wishing to celebrate pride. We feel that pride is for everyone, and no one should be excluded
This service is for people of all ages.
