Have choice and take control
A Good Thing CIC is a UK-based, not-for-profit community interest company that operates a digital platform connecting businesses with local charities to facilitate the donation of unwanted, surplus items. Our primary mission is to foster a circular economy, helping businesses reduce waste sent to landfill while supporting local communities.A Good Thing CIC operates a free online platform and app that allows businesses to list items they no longer need — such as used laptops, office furniture, surplus products, or other reusable goods. Local charities within roughly a 20‑mile radius can request these items, creating a simple matchmaking process that reduces waste and supports community organisations.
