What we do

Cardiff Mobility & Balance Physiotherapy provides specialist home visit physiotherapy for older adults across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Led by Ryan McGavock MCSP, a Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive experience in older adult care, all appointments take place in the patient's own home.
Services include falls assessment and rehabilitation, balance and mobility problems, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, post-hospital rehabilitation, neurological conditions including Parkinson's disease and stroke, long-term condition management including COPD and osteoporosis, dementia-friendly physiotherapy, and reablement supporting everyday independence.
A free 10-minute phone consultation is available before any commitment.

Initial Assessment £75 | Follow-up Session £65.

Who do we support

Cardiff Mobility & Balance Physiotherapy is for older adults who would benefit from physiotherapy in their own home, and their families and carers.

This includes people who have had a fall or are at risk of falling, those recovering from a hospital admission, people living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke or other neurological conditions, those managing long-term conditions such as COPD, osteoporosis or heart failure, and anyone struggling with everyday tasks such as getting up from a chair, managing stairs, or moving safely around the home.

The service is particularly suited to those who find travelling to a clinic difficult, those who have been discharged from NHS physiotherapy but still require ongoing support, and those who are waiting for NHS treatment and wish to self-fund in the interim.

This service is for people aged 60+.
