What we do

Come along to the Carers Week Celebration and Information Fayre on Thursday 11 June 2026 at Penarth Leisure Centre, from 11:00am to 1:30pm.

This welcoming event is a great chance to meet local organisations, discover support available in your area, and connect with others in the community. There will be a variety of information stalls to explore, as well as wellbeing taster sessions to help you relax and pick up ideas for looking after yourself. Whether you want to find advice, try something new, or simply enjoy a friendly atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

Unpaid carers who attend will also be treated to a complimentary afternoon tea as a small thank you for the important role they play. It’s a relaxed, positive event designed to inform, support and celebrate carers across Cardiff and the Vale.

Who do we support

Everyone is welcome to come along. If you look after a family member, friend or neighbour, this is a great opportunity to find out what help and support is available to you locally. You might also be starting out in a caring role or simply want to learn more about what support is out there for the future. You’ll find a friendly and relaxed space where you can chat, ask questions and feel supported. It’s all about bringing people together and making sure carers feel seen, valued and connected.

If you’d like to come along, just fill in a quick expression of interest form. It only takes a couple of minutes and helps organisers plan the day and make sure everyone has a great experience. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be all set to join us and enjoy everything on offer.
