What we do

Community Connectors can help people living in Newport find out what is going on locally and how to get involved in community activities. Connectors work with individuals, unpaid carers and organisations across Newport and can provide a wide range of information on social groups, activities, volunteering opportunities, support services and carers rights.
The connectors have Minority Ethnic connectors who aim to support a persons wellbeing through signposting to community activities, support services and unpaid carers groups.

Who do we support

The information and advice service is for anyone living in Newport who is either a carer, new to the area, lonely, socially isolated or just wants to get out of the house and meet new people.

This service is for people aged 18+.

Any one can refer into the service either via telephone or via our on line form found on the Newport City Council website

 Opening times

The connector service is open from 9am to 5pm, please note that we are community based so the phone cannot always be answered.
