Cardiff Bowling Club, is based in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. Founded in 1878 the club is one of the oldest and best known bowling clubs in the UK. Why not get out of the house, come along and make new friends , we have both Gent's and Ladies sections and a full size 6 rink indoor stadium.The Club provides the facilities for outdoor bowls during the summer & is affiliated to the Welsh Bowling Association, the Welsh Private Greens and the Welsh Women's Bowling Association. The club also has an indoor bowls facility, It is housed in a spacious, modern and comfortable clubhouse where facilities include two fully-licensed members bars which are also run on a voluntary basis with moderate prices for the beverages on offer.The club is used by the visually impaired and special needs to play bowls all year round and the club has been delighted to host a number of national and UK wide tournaments for those organisations where the play has been of a very high standard.
