Have choice and take control
Friendly and sociable Chess Club for all ages and abilities, set up to promote and encourage the game of Chess in the Barry area. If you have an interest in Chess and would like the opportunity to get out more and make new friends why not come along on a Monday evening from 7.30pm onwards at Barry West End Club, St Nicholas Road, Barry CF62 6QY. We also run a junior club from 6.30 - 7.30pm
Everyone both young and old are welcome, whether your learning chess for the first time or the next up and coming Grand master wanting to practice before you take on the world.
This service is for people of all ages.
Yes - Membership fee £50pa per adult and £10pa per Junior (under 18). Fee incorporates the Barry Chess Club fee, East Glamorgan Chess Association membership fee and the Welsh Chess Union membership fee. These fees are reviewed annually.
