What we do

The Beresford Centre is a registered charity offering free impartial and confidential counselling to women and their partners in dealing with an unexpected pregnancy and in all situations of pregnancy loss (post termination, miscarriage and still birth, and cot death).

Who do we support

The service is for all ages and has no boundary in terms of catchment area. A large number of clients come from the Newport area, but in practice clients ring and visit from all over SE Wales.

Can anyone use this service?

The service is accessed either directly by client self-referral, or can be via an agency. Referral criteria involve crisis, unexpected or problem pregnancies and pregnancy loss.

Mon: 10am — 2pm
Mon evening: 6pm — 8pm (by appointment)
Tue: 10am — 2pm
