What we do

A care home is a residential setting where a number of people live.

Residential care is often provided for people that may have difficulty living independently, however some people prefer to live in a residential care facility due to it providing security, social interaction and ongoing support and assistance that is unobtainable through care at home (i.e. domiciliary care). People often have the misconception that residential care is a "last resort" and only need a care home when they are very unwell or completely unable to manage, however there are many residents that simply enjoy the many benefits a care home has to offer.

The Range of Needs We Can Meet at Castle Court:
Castle Court is registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to offer accommodation to residents, permanent and those staying for limited respite periods, who require general personal care needs and residents with early stages of dementia. We are not able to offer care to those with nursing needs.
The aims of the home are to provide comfortable and pleasant surroundings for 24 residents aged 60 and over with personal care and according to the individual assessment and care plan. To promote the well-being and rehabilitation where possible, to maintain dignity, choice, and individuality. Our aim is also to provide a person centred and holistic approach to each individual, by putting that person at the centre of all decision making. We aim to support people to play an active part and be involved in the local community by supporting them to access the activities the local community offers.

This care home has a minimum weekly fee of £975.00 and a maximum weekly fee of £995.00.
