What we do

We are a CIW and Estyn registered setting that provides a range of childcare services for children aged 2-4 years. We operate Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm and we are based on the old Mochdre Infant School site.
We promote equality and provide MAKATON communication to support speech and language needs and we work with parents to support the needs of their children.

We are CIW and Estyn inspected and received an Excellent rating in our last inspection in March 2025.

Who do we support

We provide Flying Start funding, Early Years Education, Tax free-childcare, The Childcare Offer for Wales (30 hours) and assisted places funding and paid placements for all children aged 2-4 years old.

We support children to develop the confidence and security to explore their environment, develop positive attachments with staff and build on their skills, in an environment that promotes exploration, play, fun and laughter.

Anyone can use the resource.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: term time only. We are open during term time and for 15 days during the summer holidays.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Autumn term
  • Spring term
  • Summer term

We can provide wrap around care. We provide wrap around care for children attending nursery class from 11.30am - 5.00pm.
