At Nestlings Forest School and Day Nursery, our mission is to create an enchanting haven where children embark on a journey of self-discovery and connection with the natural world. We nurture a spirit of wonder, independence, and resilience in every child. Our passion for creating a nurturing environment seamlessly blends the enchantment of the great outdoors with the foundations of early childhood education. Nestlings is more than just a place of learning; it’s a sanctuary where children flourish and embrace of nature. At the heart of our Day Nursery beats with the passion and dedication of our Leaders. All our Leaders are trained professionals with a love for teaching and a commitment to the well-being of each child, they create an environment where every child feels seen, heard, and encouraged to spread their wings. Whether it’s the laughter echoing around the woods or the inquisitive eyes of a child discovering hidden treasures, Nestlings is a place where memories are made.

This service is provided in English with some bilingual elements.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Staff at Nestlings have extensive experience in supporting children with language and communication difficulties and children who present on the Autistic Spectrum
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
Michelle is an experienced Early Years teacher and SENCo/ALNCo
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?

A truly immersive and memorable experience for young learners in all seasons.

Parents/carers provide the nappies and wipes that they wish for us to use.

We have, goats, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs onsite. Children help to take care of the animals.
