What we do

The aim of the Free Breakfast in Primary Schools scheme is to provide children with a healthy breakfast before the start of the school day.
Children are supervised during breakfast. This is to make sure that they can safely choose their breakfast and eat it before the start of the school day.
Schools may charge for childcare before the free breakfast session starts. This is often referred to as ‘wraparound childcare’.

Who do we support

Children from the age of 3, who attend the school nursery class or full time at Ysgol Maes Y Llan.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Autumn term
  • Spring term
  • Summer term

We are unable to provide wrap around care.

Wednesday 07:50 - 08:40
Thursday 07:50 - 08:40
Friday 07:50 - 08:40

Free breakfast provided between 07:50 -08:20 but must arrive before 08:30.

  • £3.00 per Session - Childcare cost for the session up to 08:40 before school start. (£1 for Free school meal children)
