What we do

Sessional day care - 2.5 hours a session, morning or afternoons, start and finish times 9.00 to 11.30 or 12.15 to 2.45

This service is provided in English with some bilingual elements.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Early Years Advisory Teacher - Tracey Stokes Speech and Language Therapist - Iona Gardner Childcare Development Officer - Claire Durham ALN Lead Officer- Carley Christopher Advice and information from Health Professions including Health Visitors, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paediatricians as and when required
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
Staff have all received 2 days of Flying Start training on the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning and the requirements of Flying Start in supporting the children in our setting. In addition staff who support children with ALN have had additional training in Speech and Language support, Signalong, Nurture, ACE, ASD, Early Bird ASD, PECS,
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
