The second is to Be Active. Swapping inactive pursuits with active ones will make you feel good and improve your health. Find something you enjoy and which suits your level of mobility and fitness.

The third is to Take notice of your surroundings. Be aware of the world around you and what you are feeling, and reflect upon your experiences to help you understand what matters to you.

The fourth is to Keep learning. It could be trying something new, or rediscovering an old interest. Learning new things can be fun and will make you feel more confident.

Finally, Give. Do something nice for a friend, or a stranger. Volunteer your time, join a community group. Seeing yourself linked to the wider community can be very rewarding, and creates connections with the people around you.
